First, let’s look at the receivers with bad matchups that you’re likely to start regardless. Michael Thomas (vs. Chiefs), DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett (@ Washington), Adam Thielen and Justin Jefferson (vs. Bears), and Stefon Diggs and Cole Beasley (@ Broncos) all remain solid options despite tough opponents. Many will probably be worried about Tyler Boyd and Tee Higgins (vs. Pittsburgh), too, but the Steelers have actually been slightly below average against WRs most of the year....

Last week, our bust picks were a mixed bag. Adrian Peterson was our lone correct call at RB, but at QB, Jameis Winston and Aaron Rodgers both underperformed against tough defenses. In terms of pass-catchers, Chris Godwin, Kyle Rudolph, and Austin Hooper all had poor outings, but the defenses we picked generally were solid. We’ll look to improve in Week 16 and make sure fantasy owners avoid the right players in this critical week....

Obviously, that depends on your other choices, but in a vacuum, we say “yes.” Both have great matchups, and both have produced more often than not over the past five games. Some of the other players on this list are a little more debatable, but if you’re worried about potential busts this week, you’re going to have to take a chance or two. We’re not listing any sleeper quarterbacks this week because you really shouldn’t need to take a chance on a guy like Colin Kaepernick or Matt Barkley....
