This week’s central stack is a Browns onslaught, and while it might seem counterintuitive to pair Nick Chubb with Baker Mayfield (as opposed to Duke Johnson), we think Chubb has a higher ceiling and can still be involved in the passing attack like in Cleveland’s last game. Because we’re paying up at RB and one WR spot, we have to hunt for bargains at other positions. This is truly a boom-or-bust GPP lineup, but we like the matchups our one-off sleepers will be facing....

The Oakland Raiders WRs stir up the most trouble this week. They match up in a favorable game against the Giants, but Michael Crabtree could be on suspension watch (Update: He’s suspended two games) and Amari Cooper is dealing with a concussion. Cordarrelle Patterson and Seth Roberts pop up in our rankings for the first time this season, and Cooper exits, although any and all those players’ rankings could change in the coming week....

Another player who probably feels vastly different to PPR owners from standard leagues is Alvin Kamara. The carries haven’t really been there since his return from injury, but the targets and catches still have. Our strategy is always to stick with a kicker with a good leg that operates within a good offense. Those are the two major variables you can control. Anything else is just guessing.
