It’s tough not to overreact to what we saw in Week 1, but with more data at our fingertips, we’ll inevitably draw conclusions about certain teams. While the Week 1 odds were posted for several months, most of the Week 2 odds have only been on the board for a few days. This gives bettors a chance to potentially get ahead of the market before the point spreads sharpen up closer to kickoff....
There were also some breakout performances in Week 1 from players you’ve probably never heard of. Will Dissly? He put up over 100 yards and a TD. In a Seahawks offense that may lack offensive weaponry in the wake of Doug Baldwin’s injury, he could be a potential pickup and a low-end streamer. Other good streaming options include Eric Ebron (@ Redskins), Antonio Gates (@ Bills), and Jared Cook (@ Broncos)....
The Ewoks are supposed to look like cute and cuddly teddy bears. But without hair, those humanoid creatures look downright terrifying. Four days ago, Davies showcased actor Warwick Davis getting into his Ewok costume. In the early make-up stage, the 50-year-old actor has foam latex all over his face and other white prosthetics around his body. Davis has been involved with the Star Wars franchise since his first appearance as Wicket the Ewok in Return of the Jedi....

Tight end is always a tricky position because “bad defenses” might do a decent job at limiting TEs (possibly because RBs or WRs are running all over them) and good defenses might be most vulnerable against them. We looked at last year’s fantasy points per game (FPPG) allowed to TEs, but obviously we can only take so much from last year. Arizona was historically bad, while Washington, the Raiders, Seahawks, and Titans were in a close race for second worst....
We’ve gone with a cheap, hopefully low-owned, QB-WR stack in order to free up our budget for some higher-priced studs at both running back and wide receiver. It should also hopefully help differentiate our lineup, which is always key in a big GPP. You will also notice a home-team theme with our lineup that rounds out with a tight end and kicker we feel are incredibly cost efficient at their positions....

Ryan Tannehill (vs. Texans) is in the process of carrying teams to fantasy titles, which no one expected at even the midway point of the season. Winston (@ Lions) just keeps on chucking, and Jimmy Garoppolo (vs. ATL) has proven he can exploit bad pass defenses. Baker Mayfield (@ Cardinals) is also a big riser this week despite a disappointing Week 14. No defense allows more fantasy points to QBs than Arizona, so a bounce-back showing is in order....
While some contenders are running into stumbling blocks, some pretenders have found sudden legs to make things more interesting, too.
