WEEK 12 RANKS: QB | RB | WR | TE | D/ST | K RUNNING BACKS 1 p.m.: Giovani Bernard, Bengals (hip) ACTIVE at Texans. Bernard will start, but reports are that Jeremy Hill will still get the majority of the touches. 1 p.m.: Arian Foster, Texans (groin) INACTIVE vs. Bengals. Alfred Blue will start again. 1 p.m.: Charles Sims (ankle, ACTIVE), Doug Martin (ankle, ACTIVE), Bucs at Bears. Sims was a surprise addition to the injury report this week, but the expectation is he’ll lead the backfield....

Peyton Manning, QB, Broncos. After two straight quiet games, Manning threw up 40-plus fantasy points with his third 400-yard game of the season and five TD passes against the Chiefs. It’s the third time Manning has thrown five-plus TD passes and topped 40 fantasy points this year. He should be carrying virtually every one of his fantasy owners to the playoffs. Ben Tate, RB, Texans. Tate finally snapped out of his funk Sunday with 102 yards and three touchdowns on 22 carries....

It’s definitely a weird week for QBs. Not only do you have the guys mentioned above falling in the rankings, but you also have bona fide studs Lamar Jackson (@ Bills), Patrick Mahomes (@ Patriots), and Deshaun Watson (vs. Broncos) in difficult spots. All three players have more or less proven to be matchup-proof (despite a stinker or two from each), so we’re not too worried about them, but clearly a lot of fantasy owners will enter this must-win week with questions....

We did extremely well last week, posting 117 points and hitting big on multiple players like Alvin Kamara, Jamaal Williams, Jermaine Kearse and more. But they say (or maybe I say) that daily fantasy football is like how Mexicans describe the Pacific…it has no memory. We were ready to overreact – ready to declare certain defenses favorable or unfavorable matchups for TEs – but we didn’t get much to work with. We’re not going to worry about George Kittle despite a disappointing Week 1, just like we’re not going to get too excited about Jordan Akins just because he scored. Not everything went as expected – Hayden Hurst barely getting any looks until the fourth quarter was worrisome, as was Rob Gronkowski’s and Evan Engram’s less-than-stellar efforts....

Arsenal came away from St James’ Park with a slender victory on Sunday thanks to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s strike just before the hour mark. Aubameyang made the most of some slack defending from Newcastle to score what proved to be the winning goal in a game of few clear-cut chances. After equalling last season’s away clean sheets tally in their first match of the 2019-20 campaign, Emery targeted more shutouts if Arsenal are to improve on their fifth-place finish from last time out....

Rajasthan Royals’ skipper Shane Watson on Sunday said the ability to “quickly sum up the conditions” was the prime reason for his side’s victory over Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the Indian Premier League. Chasing a score of 156/4, the Royals reached a winning 157/2 with 10 balls to spare with Watson alone contributed 73 to the cause. “The pitch was a little bit slow and little bit dry, but we summed up the conditions pretty quickly and the bowlers bowled well to give ourselves the best chance,” the Australian all-rounder said at the post-match presentation ceremony....

The latest forecast shows a zero to 10 percent chance of rain when the green flag is scheduled to drop at 7:46. The dry skies won’t stick around all night, as storms, some of which could be severe, are expected to arrive around 9:45. Original Story: With amateur stock traders seeking out alternatives to Robinhood because the popular investment app has blocked users from opening new positions on certain viral stocks, Webull, one of the services floated as an alternative by people on the internet, has followed Robinhood’s lead and blocked users from buying new stocks from three companies, including GameStop and AMC. Webull tweeted that it wouldn’t allow people to buy GameStop (GME), AMC (AMC) or Koss Corporation (KOSS) stock on Thursday....

No. 19 Michigan is set to take on No. 5 Wisconsin in Madison on Saturday. The Badgers enter the matchup with a 10-0 record in 2017, but they’ve beaten just one ranked opponent this season — a win here likely seals an undefeated regular season and keeps alive the Badgers’ hopes of making the College Football Playoff.
