Max Maisel, a 21-year-old junior at the Rochester Institute of Technology and the son of veteran ESPN college football writer Ivan Maisel, has been missing since Feb. 22. Police have been searching off the coast of Lake Ontario, near a pier where Maisel was known to frequent. For the first time this season, Singletary received more carries than Frank Gore (20 to 11). He was efficient, too, averaging 4.8 yards per carry for 95 yards total on the heavy workload. He added three catches on four targets for 45 yards. Buffalo had already been playing Singletary many more snaps than Gore, so it seemed like only a matter of time before his carries reflected that. One of the biggest injuries this week is the one to Jeff Heuerman. The Broncos TE was coming up on a favorable string of matchups that would have afforded him an opportunity to become a low-end TE1 for the rest of the season. Now, his season is over after he suffered broken ribs and a bruised lung against the Steelers. He will be replaced by Matt LaCosse in our rankings, but LaCosse hasn’t seen nearly enough targets to be relevant in PPR formats....

The strategy of looking for kickers in weather-controlled or warm-weather environments is evident early in our rankings. Both of our top-ranked kickers, Greg Zuerlein and Wil Lutz, play in domed stadiums this week and are in two of the league’s best offenses. Philip Rivers, QB, Chargers . Despite losing another receiver Sunday (Malcom Floyd), Rivers stayed hot, throwing for 419 yards and three TDs with no turnovers against the Eagles. His stock is rising, along with Eddie Royal, who has five TDs through two games and looks to be Rivers’ go-to receiver. Rivers, who went undrafted in several fantasy leagues, is currently the No. 3 QB in standard formats and looks to be benefitting from the arrival of head coach and QB guru Mike McCoy....

But they are not mere citizens. Police officers are granted special powers to detain, arrest and use force—in particular, lethal force. But it may surprise you to know that these special powers currently create no corresponding special responsibilities or duties. What we need is a criminal code of police justice that is specifically tailored to regulate these unique powers. In addition to the dead the incidents, which took place right across America, left 137 people injured according to the site.
