Between major injuries, favorable matchups, and other assorted factors, this is the time of year when new sleepers emerge from the waiver wire every week. The bye weeks are almost over and the trade deadline is about to pass in most fantasy leagues, so you better lock down a couple good starters and be ready to adapt. It’s all about production now, and a quick glance at this week’s RB rankings shows that you can get production from a variety of places....

Both Colts’ TEs are in play thanks to a matchup with the now no-longer-winless Dolphins. Indianapolis is still a much better team than Miami, and even if Brian Hoyer is starting at QB for Indy, you can rely on Eric Ebron and to a lesser extent, Jack Doyle. WEEK 16 FANTASY: Busts | Start ’em, sit ’em Last week, our sleeper picks did very well. Jeff Wilson Jr. and Benny Snell each scored at the RB position, while Gus Edwards racked up 78 yards. Jalen Hurts put forth a banner performance against the Cardinals at QB while Philip Rivers had another two TD day. Tyron Johnson and Russell Gage each were able to score at WR, and the Browns D/ST had a solid day against the Cardinals....

Never mind that after subtracting the stale office chitchat, spam, flame wars, dumb jokes forwarded by friends who should have known better and other e-mail detritus, there were perhaps seven messages actually worth reading. I was doomed to spend half my workday just deleting junk. E-mail sucks. But wait–what about those seven? MORE WEEK 11 RANKINGS: QB | RB | WR | TE | K FIVE STAR Detroit Lions @ ARI Denver Broncos @ STL Miami Dolphins vs. BUF. Even in a “down week”, the Dolphins managed a decent eight fantasy points against Detroit. Buffalo has allowed at least 11 points in all but one game since Week 2, including 11 points last week. Miami should have a nice bounce-back performance....

The Bengals (vs. Browns) will be the most popular pickup this week, but the Redskins (vs. Giants), Titans (@ Colts), Chargers (@ Cowboys), Raiders (vs. Broncos), and Falcons (vs. Buccaneers) all could be scooped off the wire, too. Owners of the Rams (vs. Saints), Saints (@ Rams), Vikings (@ Lions), and Lions (vs. Vikings) should be consider finding a fill-in, as those matchups leave a lot to be desired. The early Thursday start time for the Vikings-Lions could lead to some sloppy play, but neither has given up much to D/STs (aside from Detroit’s debacle in New Orleans earlier this year)....
