There’s not really ever a good reason to play a non-QB in your Superflex spot (except for injury), especially in standard leagues, as even the mid- to low-tier QBs still outscore the top options at other positions regularly. If you need some examples, Teddy Bridgewater outscored Davante Adams and Carson Wentz outscored Stefon Diggs in total fantasy points last year. It’s challenging to adjust to the value shifts, but we’ve got you covered with our Week 1 Superflex/two-QB rankings. The main difference between standard and PPR Superflex leagues is QBs take even more of a leap in standard because other positions obviously score fewer points.

WEEK 1 STANDARD RANKINGS:Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker

Our top-150 rankings will always include all starting quarterbacks for a given week. Especially in standard leagues. The elite QBs, such as Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, and Kyle Murray will often find themselves at the top (except on weeks with really tough matchups, as we see with Josh Allen this week).

WEEK 1 PPR RANKINGS:Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker

With not a lot to go off of for the initial week of the regular season, we’ve done our best to account for matchups, injury concerns, and game scripts to project our rankings. Oh, and another good thing about Superflex leagues – no kickers or defense. Yay!

Week 1 Fantasy Football Rankings: Superflex

These rankings are for standard, non-PPR leagues with 4-point passing TDs.

WEEK 1 FANTASY: Sleepers | Busts | Start ’em, Sit ’em

UPDATE: Trey Sermon and Zack Moss were surprise inactives. Raheem Mostert gets a bump up, and Elijah Mitchell is in play as a flex back (especially in PPR). Devin Singletary also gets a nice bump up, making him a solid flex back. Joshua Kelley was also declared inactive, which helps Justin Jackson’s value edge close to flex territory.
