Week 10 NFL DFS Picks: Top DraftKings stacks for cash games
QB Drew Brees and WR Michael Thomas, New Orleans Saints Especially if you use Bilal Powell as I’m hoping to do in cash games, you can pay up for Thomas. Thomas has easily been the most consistent wide receiver in football this season, and he has a real shot at taking down Marvin Harrison’s NFL record for receptions in a season. It hasn’t mattered who is at quarterback for the Saints this season, but we can’t say that Thomas’ upside is lower with Drew Brees back at quarterback. Thomas and the rest of the Saints passing attack have the best possible matchup - at home against the Atlanta Falcons. Atlanta’s defense is frankly pathetic, and I don’t think that they have the talent in the secondary to show much improvement coming out of their bye week. Thomas has at least 89 yards or a touchdown in every game this season, and this is a spot so good that it is hard to see a path where he completely busts a cash game lineup. Brees is certainly expensive across the industry this week, but he is more than worth the spend up given the home matchup against the Falcons. The potential return of Alvin Kamara to the lineup does slightly limit Brees’ touchdown equity; however, Kamara’s excellent pass-catching ability could actually boost the upside of Brees. I love the idea of running this stack with either Calvin Ridley or Russell Gage in either cash games or GPPs, and both of them are at a price point that fits nicely with the high priced Brees/Thomas stack. QB Ryan Tannehill and TE Jonnu Smith, Tennessee Titans Tannehill isn’t a sexy name for fantasy, but with a cheap price point, he is by far my favorite spend-down option at the quarterback position in a favorable matchup against the Chiefs at home. Tannehill has been solid since coming in for Marcus Mariota, and last week showed the rushing upside that is so valuable in DFS with 38 yards and a touchdown on four attempts. Tannehill makes a lot more sense if Le’Veon Bell does suit up, and Bilal Powell’s value isn’t available to us. The Chiefs have allowed 20-plus fantasy point outings in six of their nine games this season, and the possible return of Patrick Mahomes will only boost the passing attempts projection of the opposing quarterback. I’m not in love with any of the Titans receiving options, but as many readers of the article will know by now, I never mind spending down and punting at tight end in cash games. O.J. Howard and Mike Gisecki are both viable, but for a Tannehill stack, I like Jonnu Smith at $3,500 on Draftkings and $5,100 on FanDuel. Smith doesn’t run a lot of routes and only plays about 50-60 percent of the team’s snaps; however, he is involved in the passing offense when he is out there on the field. With the Titans coming in as six-point home underdogs, we can project the Titans to be throwing the ball deep into possible garbage time. Smith has 12 targets over the last two games with Walker out of the lineup, and I’m projecting him to see at least five targets in a matchup against a Chiefs defense that ranks in the bottom-10 in the league against opposing tight ends.

Week 10 DraftKings Picks: Best stacks for daily fantasy football GPPs/tournaments
QB Kyler Murray and WR Christian Kirk, Arizona Cardinals In tournaments, I’m looking to stack the Bucs/Cardinals game every which way. The Bucs side of the ball is going to carry much more ownership, but this is also a ceiling type spot for the high-paced Cardinals offense that is coming into this game with 10 days rest after playing their last game on Thursday night. I’m fully expecting Murray to go overlooked with the other great quarterback options above $6,000 on DraftKings. A matchup with the Bucs has been a fantasy gold mine for virtually every quarterback who has played them this season. Daniel Jones (336/2, 2 rushing TDs), Jared Goff (517/2), Teddy Bridgewater (332/4), Ryan Tannehill (193/3), and Russell Wilson (378/5) all had their best games of the season against Tampa. Murray will also get back running back David Johnson for this game, which should only boost Murray’s upside, given Johnson’s excellent pass-catching ability. The top stacking option with Murray is Kirk. Kirk is coming off a poor outing against the 49ers, but something interesting that came out of his game is that Kirk ran his highest percentage of routes on the outside this entire season in that game. Tampa has the worst group of outside cornerbacks in the entire league, having allowed more than 200 yards to opposing wide receiving groups in four games already this season. Kirk has yet to really show off his downfield ability this season, but this is the ideal breakout spot for him to have a ceiling type game.
