Among those teams with favorable matchups are the Packers (vs. Dolphins), Dolphins (vs. Packers), Bears (vs. Lions), Falcons (@ Browns), 49ers (vs. Giants), and Jets (vs. Bills). Several others teams with a dominant lead back, including the Chiefs (vs. Cardinals), Cardinals (@ Chiefs), and Chargers (@ Raiders) are also facing porous run defenses, so this could be a big week for backs.
Quarterback | Wide Receiver | Tight End | D/ST | Kicker
Of course, not every matchup can be favorable, and of particular worry are Marlon Mack (vs. Jaguars) and some committees, like the Lions (@ Bears), Eagles (vs. Cowboys) and Seahawks (@ Rams). Overall, though, things look good on paper, and while start ’em, sit ’em calls will still be difficult, at least you’ll likely be choosing between two decent options instead of two players headed for certain doom. (Anyone who had to make a Derrick Henry-or-Peyton Barber decision last week knows what we’re talking about.)
