Fortunately, this week’s rankings are fairly strong – which they should be with only two teams on bye and the impact of injuries fairly minimal. If Johnson (knee) can’t go on Thanksgiving and Martin (ankle) misses time against the Ravens, both the Lions and Raiders will opt for committee situations in horrible matchups, which is suboptimal for everyone involved. Of course, it does open up more touches for potential FLEX backs, so that’s something, especially in PPR leagues.

Perhaps the biggest question this week will be what to do with Gus Edwards, who seemingly came out of nowhere to dominate running back carries for the Ravens. With Lamar Jackson slated to start again and another favorable matchup (vs. OAK) on deck, Edwards will be a must-have waiver pickup and likely starter for many fantasy teams this week, but is Alex Collins simply worthless now? If we felt confident one would see the majority of the touches, we’d have them much higher, but as it stands, we just don’t know, leaving both in the borderline RB2/FLEX range.
