There have been a fair amount of disappointments this year in PPR, like Jarvis Landry, but the fact of the matter is that guys who get targets are still valuable. While Landry and Larry Fitzgerald haven’t been performing at the level that many expected, they still have to be included in the starting lineup for most fantasy teams, especially with Landry in a good matchup with the Panthers and Fitzgerald in a fairly nice matchup with the Lions. Both could have a chance to finally break out with high-catch games, and odds are you don’t have a ton of options that would be better than this duo.
Week 14 Standard Rankings:Quarterback | Running Back | Wide Receiver | Tight End | D/ST | Kicker
In terms of PPR sleepers, guys like Bruce Ellington (@ Cardinals), Keke Coutee (vs. Colts), and Zay Jones (vs. Jets) stand out this week (assuming Coutee plays, of course). At this point in the year, there are also going to be guys that pop up out of nowhere and randomly get a lot of targets, then disappear the next week. For example, Jermaine Kearse saw 12 targets in Week 12…and then didn’t see any in Week 13. So, what’s the lesson here? Targets are inconsistent for most. Just look for good matchups and guys that consistently stay on the field. That’s all you can ask for at this point in the season.
