Reed’s departure will make Vernon Davis the new TE1 in Washington, and there’s a good chance that he could work into starter territory in a favorable matchup with the Jaguars. The Jaguars haven’t performed well against TEs in recent weeks, and Davis should see a fair amount of targets from new QB Josh Johnson. That makes him a potential top-10 option.

Elsewhere, both Ian Thomas (vs. Saints) and Austin Hooper (vs. Falcons) could be potential volume-based PPR streamers. They have each been seeing a fair amount of targets in recent weeks, and Thomas in particular seems to have won the trust of his quarterback Cam Newton. It’s never easy to go with a guy like Thomas, who only has emerged in the past week and a half, but sometimes, you have to take risks in fantasy in December, and he might be one that’s worth taking.
