Of course, there is still a chance that a top kicker could sit if he isn’t healthy. One player to watch in the final week of the season is Falcons starter Matt Bryant. The 43-year-old Bryant has dealt with injuries throughout the year, and he missed some time as a result. With the Falcons out of the playoff race, Bryant could be rested to allow him to get healthy ahead of the season. For now, we have him in our rankings, but he will be replaced by the team’s backup, Giorgio Tavecchio, in the event that he is out.
Week 17 Rankings: Quarterback | Running Back | Wide Receiver | Tight End | Defense
Our kicker strategy hasn’t changed since the start of the season. Just keep targeting kickers with good legs in high-powered offenses. And, of course, make sure to keep an eye on the weather and target kickers in dome or warm-weather environments to stay safe. Now is not the time to get cute with kicker picks, so just go with one of the better options in our rankings.
Note: We’ll update our rankings throughout the week if weather or injuries figure to be major factors.
